Safety is important to all of us and the Ford engineers designed Transit Custom to a standard that ensured it received a five-out-of-five rating from Euro NCAP, a great way to help meet your duty of care for employees.
The Euro NCAP Five-out-of-Five score was achieved with Customs standard safety features such as Electronic Stability Control which monitors the behaviour of the vehicle and keeps it under control. Roll Stability Control which protects your van from rolling over in the event of an accident, an enhanced airbag system and more!
Most people buying a van this size carry tools, equipment or cargo kept in the loadbox. Transit Custom has a choice of two high-level alarm options available and both Limited & Sport are fitted with a Thatcham Category 1 Alarm as standard.
If safety and duty of care are part of your list of must haves when choosing a new van, check the brochure or videos on this page. Ford Trained Sales teams are on call at Doncaster and York to help explain the full list of safety equipment that comes as standard on 2018 Transit Custom models.
